The tube had to be extended three (3) inches. I took the EGR Tub from the 5.4L motor, cut three inches off of it and cut the 4.6L tube in half. Then the tube was bolted to the motor and tacked. After that, we took the tube off the motor and finished the welding. Here is the tube before the welds were ground down.
