The Show went great. We achieved all of our goals.
Our apologies for those who had to wait a little in the heat for the trophy distribution. One "new" Judge ran a little late too.
We will try to prevent that from occurring by starting Judging earlier next year.
We had more cars than expected this year and parking was a little cramp. Some justly noted that we parked the cars a little tightly. We will try to get more space next year to prevent that from happening again.
This year we were able to Judge most cars three times even though we lost our dots. We averaged the tallies to make them fair.
Please note that we Judged based on the following general system (that we always use):
ENGINE--UNDER HOOD INSPECTION (20 TOTAL POINTS)
TRUNK INSPECTION (10 TOTAL POINTS)
EXTERIOR INSPECTION (30 TOTAL POINTS)
INTERIOR INSPECTION (25 TOTAL POINTS)
OUTSIDE INSPECTION (15 TOTAL POINTS)
HANDICAP: Allows older cars to compete with new cars
The form forces points for scrap books, displays, presentations, custom paint and etc... So a car with a scrap book may get the same points as a pristine car with no display.
