IT CAN BE DONE ON ANY T-BIRD 89-97 :-X  REMOVE OLD FUEL DOOR  :afit: NOW HERES WHERE A TRUE  MECHANIC CAN DO THIS 8)  I BOUGHT THE CHEAPEST ONE'S  25.00 + OR - :clap: YES DID 2 CAR'S  YOU MUST BEND SOME OF THE EXSITING TIN :hide:  MAYBE TRIM SOME AS WELL :schh: EACH ONE WAS DIFFERENT :naww:  2 SUPPLIES  :bow1: ONE OPENS TO THE FRONT ::) OTHER TO BACK  O0 ONE MAGNETIC  AND SPRING  LOADED  :lunie: OTHER IS PRY OPEN SNAP SHUT  :'( LESS THAN 1 HOUR INSTALL  :afit: DRILL MOTOR   :schh: TIN SNIPS :afto2:  PLIERS  ;D MAY NEED LONGER BOLTS & FLAT WASHERS  ::) YOU CAN DO IT :D AND MAY NOT NEED ALL 6 BOLTS  :(  SO DUMMY UP THE ONES NOT NEEDED :-\

Here are the pictures of the chrome F-150 Fuel Door on a Supercoupe...



Depending on the type of cover, the cover may have to be installed in the opposite direction.  The following is a chrome F-150 door in a Thunderbird v6.

The 5.4 swap has been called a bad idea, and considered an underpowered considerable waste of time, since 2007.

I like the 94/ 95 shaved door smooth locking gas cap look with the open switch in the console and a trunk back-up.  Looks stock on a 97 but is not.  I have been dragging my butt on the tech article for some time.  I think I will look at finishing er up this weekend.
