A Thunderbird Hood Ornament worth big bucks?
« on: October 26, 2008, 12:00:44 PM »
Believe it or not this 1977 Thunderbird Hood Ornament is selling for over $2,000 USD on ebay.

and the auction has a few more days left!  Holy cow!!!!  Some people have some cash!   8)
The 5.4 swap has been called a bad idea, and considered an underpowered considerable waste of time, since 2007.

Nice to see that most donít think that anymore.

Try to find one in good condition back in the day kids would break or steal the ornaments I replaced allot of them when I had the body shop. I guess if you are restoring a vehicle it wont be complete until all the trim is there.

I say sell them now while there is still a demand.  Once the people who part paying the big bucks have them on their cars the fad will be over.  Copy the text from that add, edit a tad and run with it with a nice reserve.  Use the money to fix your car.
