Hummm...  I thought they were going to put the heads on the block.  Any chance of the valves hitting the pistons?   ???
The 5.4 swap has been called a bad idea, and considered an underpowered considerable waste of time, since 2007.

Nice to see that most donít think that anymore.

Well first off the pistons are notched you really cant see it very well in the picture but they are second the piston is dished 23cc so the only contact would be around the rim that is where they have the notches. They did a great job on porting but they did not reassemble the heads as they said they would I now have to assemble the rocker arm assembly and set the timing but not a problem it will get done.

I hate it when they short a job.  Funny how work stops when people get the check.   :afit:  I guess it will be better if you do it your way anyways.

Well your right :moe: I feel better doing it myself but it would of been better if they sent the cams and rocker assembly back with all the other parts.   >:( I called MMR they didn't realized  they still had my cams. I call Ford Racing to get the spec or part numbers for the cams so I can make sure I get the right parts back. MMR said they would make good for there mistake.  :afto2:

Well the block is rated for 1150 hp depending on the setup where going to use and now that the laws in MA have changed. We are now thinking of putting it into a OBD1 system vehicle to get around the laws on the books. The supercharger is the problem getting the cash to fund it. Lower end is done heads are mounted just need to install the timing chains and degree the timing. Once it is all together it will be put on a dyno all adjustment will be done so it is running at peak performance prior to the install. So when it does go in and there is a problem we no it was not a motor problem. Then when install is complete the car will go back to the dyno and a complete tune will be done.
