Outback Steakhouse.....
« on: December 22, 2006, 10:08:08 PM »
The outback steakhouse  chain was started in the Greater tampa bay area. My wife just got a $50 gift card, and I was pretty unhappy , as I was in one once for about 5 minutes, and found out they have perfected seating. :o.... totally uncomfortable! , unacceptable table height vs,. seat hight on narrow pine boards... Well maybe my a55 IS big? but hey! The set up is designed to get you in and out F-a-s-t!!
Money grubbers dont want you sitting there enjoying the coffee , or the lack of ambience, Hmmm?Dont even worry about the damb  food.
In any case ,I will not even consider eating there. :-[ :-X :'(.... wait, there's a bunch of other restaraunts owned by the chain on that card, even Carrabba's , maybe they will let us use the darned card there? The food is pretty good there, even tho half the "authentic Italian cooks " there are black??......... gotta try it....

:ralph: feels your pain went there a couple of times I made the mistake of having my kids pick where we were going to eat. I'm not an Aussie so I can give two sh**s of their decor. I'll go to anyother steak house before going there again.

The last time I was at Outback they talked me into this new prime hamburger.  I asked for it to be well done and it came red in the middle.  I sent it back and the manager gave me a hard time as if I asked for rare.  The waitress tole me I ordered well done.  But there was no communication...  The burger came back burnt (as I ordered), with the old cheese still on it and they added some more cheese.  Not a good combno...  The bun was soggy...  Onions were lame...  Minus well had a grilled cheese sandwich... They have good beer but fine dining not!!  :(
The 5.4 swap has been called a bad idea, and considered an underpowered considerable waste of time, since 2007.

Nice to see that most donít think that anymore.

I never send back anything I ask to speak to the manager if it is a good waitress they usually make you satisfied. I ask for something else and tell them I'm not satisfied and I wont pay for the meal. There responce is should be can I get you something else or how can I correct this for you. When you send something back and get it back again you never know what they done to it. How about the Blooming Onion that is a heart attack waiting to happen theres enough grease to lube 3 mn12's

Heeey! theres no accounting for taste,  ::)or different body types that can actually stand sitting at outback, go figger. ;).............That doesnt make you a bad guy, and we welcome different opinions here , unlike other sites where they don't tolerate someone disagreeing ;D
