Automatic Ride Control Pressure Switch in a NON-ABS TBird

As some of you know I removed the ABS from my Thunderbird.  When I did it I replaced the SC proportioning valve with the stock CV proportioning valve.  Here is the SC proportioning valve with the guts removed.



I cleaned the housing and had the machinist make an aluminum plug then had a welded weld it in like so:



I then cleaned it again and painted all the carbon steel parts, even the part on the switch:



I will install it in a few more weeks...   :joys:
The 5.4 swap has been called a bad idea, and considered an underpowered considerable waste of time, since 2007.

Nice to see that most donít think that anymore.
