A new computer!!!
« on: February 06, 2007, 06:20:24 PM »

Ha ha!!!  I wonder what you do with the steering wheel?

 ;) ;) ;)
The 5.4 swap has been called a bad idea, and considered an underpowered considerable waste of time, since 2007.

Nice to see that most donít think that anymore.

Thats not a steering wheel, its the wheel that cranks up pressure on the grape crusher.... Its powered by wine! There is an entire fermentation plant behind the wall , go figure...... :o

Who would want to power their cars with wine?  What next, a beer powered car?  :D

Well, heres my new 'puter.........actually a little farther along than the pic shows, but I still have to double check some connections , install a different board , and of course fire it up with baited breath and fingers crossed...........

its a Thermaltake case (tsunami), with a ABIT mo'bo', 2 gigs ram, all SATA, with a dual core AMD 4200 CPU, 500mbAZUS 16x PCIE ATI vid card and a 256mb crucial 16xPCIE ATI backup card in a crossfire setup. only thing non SATA is the floppy disc hook up and has lotsa spare usb and firewire ports as well as a 700 wat power supply, and about 9 fans. :D ;) :P ::) O0

Speaking of breaking down allot.  Look at the windoze machine above.  He has been working on that computer for three (3) years now.  A long long drawn out project indeed.  I wonder if it is going to work???  I suspect a dyno run in a few weeks?  :'(
