OK SORRY for the multiple posts.

I'm holding cover brace in hand.

Looks like an extra inch of course I'll measure it
But at least an extra inch because the 5 bolts go through a raised area

I think I figured everything out.
I think   :naww:

Thanks for the parts Mike.

I'd like to say that everything I bought was as advertised and arrived in one day.
I give 5 stars or 100% satisfaction to higbull. :afto2:

The 5.4 swap has been called a bad idea, and considered an underpowered considerable waste of time, since 2007.

Nice to see that most donít think that anymore.

Ok he got the cover brace and poly mount in

the new RexMax converter with aluminun driveshaft.

It freaking pulls a holeshot like you wouldn't believe !!

and the wheelhop is gone too !!!

but..................................he didn't get the front pinion brace in damnit
he replaced the bushings
and the toe end compensators
mother %#%%&^&

i told him there was alot of torque on that........he said................naaaaaaaaa

160-240  not that much

but he hands me the freaking parts back

but he did replace spark plugs
cover brace
poly mount
replace driveshaft
replace torque converter
ran cooler lines

all for 4 bills

but still  i wanted that front brace installed because it helps tie the irs up some more like the rear torsional bar

dmnit

Never heard of RevMax converters.  I had both ProTorque and Dirty :dog: converters.  I liked the ProTorque better.

Hope you added a transmission cooler too.  Now I am curious, what is with your motor?

Maybe the mechanic did not install the brace because he did not know how.  I always give mechanics instructions for special parts.

oh sorry

He said exhaust was in way but I think I overloaded him with stuff.
I think he copped out .................didn't pay him enough.
He didn't put on the toe end compensators either.
He said they mount in same area.
But damnit that was one of the priorities I told him.

But the Revmax kicks arse..........so far.

Yes I put on a big cooler run after oil goes through rad.cooler and it's mounted in front of everything.

I think I might still get a bigger pan though.
This conv. might kick a little too much arse

I should to revise my TQ statement.  It seems that when I put one in my car they work great for about two years then the seat of the pants feeling is gone.

I remember when dirtygog opened up my refreshed pro-torque, he said it was trashed.
Quote from: dorron
I am sure J. will chime in and fill in the details. He was a little displeased when doggie opened it up and as noted, the converter was even worse. But, doggie fixed him all up and J. now has the proper hardware to get that power to the ground. I feel really sorry for the people who spend their hard earned money on this stuff. I am glad that doggie is around otherwise I would have been a victim on a torque converter myself.

I have this feeling that if he opened up my current TQ they would say the same thing.  It seems my engine has too much torque and eats TQ's for lunch.  My current TQ is working but does not feel the same as it used to...

Mike, Help me out.

I need an I.C.M. integrated control module for the wipers/turn signals.

It goes under dash.
There is a pic of it on that other site heh.

I can post a link if needed.

I replaced the switch.
Motors good.
Hmmmmmmmmmm.
not good at electrical diagnosis ..........at all.
NOT GOOD WITH ANY KIND OF ELECTRICAL

I wonder if there is a 17c476 for a 97 thunderbird listed ?
gov.

Was a Ford parts guy for many years but can't remember if there was a separate intermittent governor or if it was integral

But when the wipers do work (intermittent prblem)
the intermittent function works

Can you say intermittent ? ;D

i'm so confused
