So I'm ordering the pro race kit.
Pro-race 34271 for 158.00 made out of nodular iron with an SFI Rating of 18000

ASP dampner was made of aluminum, cast iron and rubber and is not sfi approved.

The ASP guy said they don't make them for STEEDA but PRO-RACE is made in Australia
  hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Anyway I finally made a decision :flam:

What took so long?    :shift:  Do not forget to get a new dampener hardware.

The 5.4 swap has been called a bad idea, and considered an underpowered considerable waste of time, since 2007.

Nice to see that most donít think that anymore.

Bolt is here heh

Damper and pulleys being shipped from Cali today so I'm guessing THEY'LL ARRIVE early next week.

If I do any more (ENGINE) performance additions
I'm thinking   Windage Tray or P.I. Heads
or both.

But just  thinking about those jobs makes my head     :boom:

No!  Not PI heads!  They were big in the late 90's.  Now Trick Flow heads are the way to go!  Add mild cams and you will blow your bottom for sure!

butt  :spank:

butt :Bmoon:

I already have a pair off 04 GT in the garage !!!!

They're both in great shape with cams and gears etc.

No one wants to buy them that's for sure.

JEGS sells them for 400 a cyl head
I wonder if those are brand new ?
They have cams too.

Bottom ends are strong on 4.6's

Why would you say those will blow b.end ?
With a blower maybe but an N.A. ?

I was thinking of that.

I was thinking of maybe even doing it myself.

Take all that extra meat off and only enlarge ports a little where the the notch is like the trick flows.

I'd have to come up with a way to home C.C. them with liquid.

I think I could do a pretty decent job.

Of course if I found myself with lots of money I'd get a new shortblock and a pair of trick flows.
