I adjusted my transmission with EEC Tuner.  But my changes may mess up your transmission since mine it built to take a beating.  I need to know the scalar values...

These shift points are a little dangerous and I prefer to adjust them on a dyno:

trans WOT shift 12 Shift Point:  Change the rpm to increase the shift point at WOT. Each WOT shift point is different so you should try 500 rpm increments until you find the correct WOT shift rpm.

trans WOT shift 23 Shift Point:  Change the rpm to increase the shift point at WOT. Each WOT shift point is different so you should try 500 rpm increments until you find the correct WOT shift rpm.

trans WOT shift 34t Point:  Change the rpm to increase the shift point at WOT. Each WOT shift point is different so you should try 500 rpm increments until you find the correct WOT shift rpm.

Then there are some tables with engine speed vs shift points for 12, 23, 34 and etc going up and down in speed.  Attached is a neat little tool I found that can guide you after you enter the correct information for your transmission.
The 5.4 swap has been called a bad idea, and considered an underpowered considerable waste of time, since 2007.

Nice to see that most donít think that anymore.

Thank you !
I will check that out.
Now when I get some money near the first of Nov. I gotta do something about the belt/pulleys.

I may buy that kit and just use the new harmonic/balancer.
..........and a different belt with new pulleys.

It runs great and the temp gauge stays glued in the middle
of the range on the gauge.
It doesn't budge !  Awesome.

Lonnie is the man !!!!

Thanks J.M.!

Lonnie has been tuning for a long long time...
:glasses:

I am interested in seeing how the tables are laid out with the SCT.  Can you type them?

Not sure how to do that J.M.

I know one thing that happened to me tonight which wasn't good.

I floored it while cruising at about 45 and it kicked down all the way to first and just about threw the belt off.

I forgot if the 1-2 shift is set too high then it might kick down
to a higher rev. point then it should.

Not good.

It held together but the belt screamed at me.

Not good.

J.M.
I honestly don't know a thing about these.
I'm reading manuals etc. and it seems to me that they really don't have these things set up to be easy.
I mean you can't even tune more than one car at a time on it.

Also................you have to be able to code.
as in.................write computer code/ as in setting up a website sort of..............which I know nothing.

I can navigate decently.
I can research and I have good knowledge.

But.............in no way am I a computer geek or know anything about computer code/ writings.

I tried hooking it up to my computer and I couldn't get the drivers to load.

So...........not sure I can help you with that.

Yet.

If you want use my e-mail address / being as you are the head person of this website I'm sure you have it.

Or......................we can call each other on the phone if you think it's something I'll be able to do.

I do re-load windows 95/98/xp

so......I know some.

or................maybe we can work out something like a send through mail and send back.

I trust you.

TCCOA is sad.

They flame newbies and if you bring up a topic that might have been covered 15 years ago .....................THEY FLAME YOU FOR THAT !!!!!

DUDE YOU NEED TO LEARN HOW TO USE YER SEARCH OPTION !!!!

WHAT ??

First of all : something might have changed or been updated since 15 years ago.
Second : Maybe someone has a new way or shortcut.
Third : Maybe there is a new tool or product since 15 years ago.
Fourth: So many scenarios or things could have changed.

BUT THE MAIN REASON OF ALL IN MY OPINION IS :
MANY PEOPLE VISIT WEBSITES TO SOCIALIZE !!!!!!!!   DUH !!!!!!!!

NOT JUST TO GET INFO !!!!

I MEAN IF THATS THE FREAKING CASE THEN WHY NOT JUST SHUT THE WEBSITE DOWN TO NEW ENROLLMENT !!!

DISCARD ALL THE CURRENT MEMBERS !!!

AND JUST HANG A SIGN UP !!!!!!!!!!

USE YOUR SEARCH FUNCTION !!!!!!

FREAKING IDIOTS !!!!

sorry...........maybe this should be in rant section :help:

P.S. Thats why I come here. The interaction with other people that have similar interests.

I'm sorry ...............this has probably been covered.
I should've used my search function.

We do not worry about them much, only one member showed up at Carlisle.   :schh:

I was there back when it all started.   :abc:  KD arrived, took over the server and immediately bashed other car owners who did toe his line.   :spank:   More notable Allen superchargers.    :flam:  Then some got together and started a business.   :3sum:  Pressuring members to purchase wares.   :zipp:  I had a disagreement with one of his friends so they attacked my ride.   :chnsw:  Tried to force me to do something with it I do not want to do.   :pop:   But they discovered I dance to my own tune.   :snoopy:  They tried to gang up on me.   :porain:  Failed, so they deleted all my posts.   :ohno:   Many know that I can get it back, honestly I want no part of  :flush: ...  I am happy they did...  :thanks:  It gives me a excuse to every now and then  :spaking:  a few of the minions of evil... :daz:
