Kirk Kerkorian wants to buy Chrysler...
« on: April 07, 2007, 08:21:25 PM »
Apparently Kirk lost out in the deal with Dimler Benz and has made an offer of 4.5 Billion offer but is lower than the Canadian auto parts maker Magna International at 4.7 Billion.  Will an American get the company or will it go to Canada??  Oh no...  :o  Who knows but he offered a 100 million dollar deposit...  Come on guy I could us a little of that...   >:D
The 5.4 swap has been called a bad idea, and considered an underpowered considerable waste of time, since 2007.

Nice to see that most donít think that anymore.

Does it really make a difference if it goes to Canada since allot of part and assembly plants are in Canada. Don't forget NAFTA.

Kerkorian is anudder "bean counter/pirate"........the problem with all american car companies these days. You need ownership to be with "car guys" who are barely held in check by accountants to create really great cars, and a really great car company.

They can go anyplace for all I care. Too many years of crappy product has destroyed a fine U.S. marquee. About all thats left is a second rate product  thats bought by bottom feeders and unsuspecting consumers . I am not sure wether Chrysler is dragging down Mercedes, or Mercedes is dragging down Chrysler? According to CU's Auto report, theyre both low on the reliability profile. >:( :o
