Ham & Eggs Served in the Pan! A Pocono breakfast treat!
« on: April 21, 2007, 09:33:01 AM »
This is one of my more favorite breakfast joints in the Poconos.

The weather was not too great the day I visited so I did not take a picture of the classic PA Dutch sign.  I did not want to get the camera wet.   :o Here is the side of the building.

A beautiful Pocono interior.   8)

I picked one of my favorites.  Scapple & Eggs served in the pan!  Yum Yum!!!!  :yumm: :yumm: :yumm: :yumm: :yumm:

The B-card:
The 5.4 swap has been called a bad idea, and considered an underpowered considerable waste of time, since 2007.

Nice to see that most donít think that anymore.

:moe: is that out of my way or when I come down can I get there with out going to far out of the way.

That depends on how you get here. Take 84 west from NE to Pennsylvania.  Through New York (21 exits to PA).  Approximately 100 miles.

Take the second exit in Pennsylvania (US-209 S/US-6 W exit- OLD exit number 53- toward MILFORD).

Make a LEFT off of the exit towards Milford.  (Good soup there)

Follow route 209 south business through Milford and into the scenic Delaware Valley Water Gap.  Watch the signs route 209 S bends around.  You will go through the whole water gap (approx. 20 miles).

After the Water Gap you will pass though the Pocono's resorts and many of Freddies timeshares!

Further down 209 S on the LEFT you will see a red white and blue dinner called the Yankee Doodle and on the right is a large Flea Market.  After the diner there will be two traffic lights.  Go past the first traffic light (Route 402).  Make a LEFT turn at the second traffic light.  It will take you to route 80.

After several miles, make the first route 80 right hand turn on to route 80 W.  Continue on I-80 W past route 33 S (the normal turn).   After you see the outlets on the right get off the next exit 298 (PA-611, Scotrun) and turn left towards Sanofi-pasteur Swiftwater on rt 611.  It is a few miles up on the right...

But be warned the place we are having the show has the best scrapple!  Save some room...

:moe: I HOPE YOU DIDN'T LICK THE PAN AGAIN ;D !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!LAST TIME YOU BURNT YOUR LIPS AND TONUGE :-[

Too late!!   :D

Well it is your mission to find out if they are still open. With this economy anything could happen.

So sit farther than his reach so he has to get up to get to your plate.
