GM admits their cars are ugly?
« on: May 02, 2007, 07:02:00 AM »
GM has finally come to grips that their cars are not keeping up with the Jone's in the looks department.  The company has decided to reshuffle it's design department.

One move was to move the design director in Europe to US and bring him in as VP of Design.  So I guess we are going to get a bunch of Euro Cars???

The North American director of Interior Design has been promoted to Global Advanced Design.  I will let :jake: comment on the design of the interior of these cars...

"These changes to our Design organization will allow us to better support GM's global business strategies," Ed Welburn, Vice President of GM Global Design, said in a release. "The result is a more streamlined organization that fully leverages the broad and deep resources throughout our 11 global design studios."

The 5.4 swap has been called a bad idea, and considered an underpowered considerable waste of time, since 2007.

Nice to see that most donít think that anymore.
