Cleaning the 1990 35th SC interior
« on: January 14, 2008, 09:20:44 PM »
Over the weekend I spent a six hours cleaning and scrubbing the 1/4" of dirt in the SC.  She was bad, I used almost all 24 cleaning wipes, had to take the rubber parts and clean them in the sink.  I found out that the door above the glove box had a soda spill that was stinking up bad.  Cleaned it out.  There was a 1/4" of dirt in all the pockets...

While I was at it I sprayed a little rust inhibitor paint on all spots that looked rusty.  It was cold so I had to use my leaf blower to dry off the paint.  Sprayed a little white lithium grease on the hinges.

Dang,  Spent six hours and it still has some dirt...

Now I need to figure out how to clean the suede seat inserts???

This car just may require a little babying to get her ready for a show.   :mama:
The 5.4 swap has been called a bad idea, and considered an underpowered considerable waste of time, since 2007.

Nice to see that most donít think that anymore.
