newbie from Milton PA!
« on: February 24, 2008, 01:18:08 PM »
after meeting a few at the meet last night, i figured i would joint here too.  everyone was very nice and really knew their stuff.  i have to say they are a really funny bunch.  we enjoyed ourselves and look forward to more!
as for me, i am 25 from good old Milton.  i have a girlfriend and a 4 year old son.  the second son will be here next month!  can't wait!  i have had many thunderbirds.  my favorites were my 87 and 88 turbo coupes, and mu 91 thunderbird with a 5.0.  that poor car is long gone though.  maybe next year i will have my SC!
here is a good shot of my old bird under exceleration...

i miss it!
OK now for my marquis.  i trade my 92 mercury sable in on it.  it is my first car with leather interior. i really love this car.   sorry it is dirty in the pics.

i love that picture!

Looking good.  Thanks for joining.   :afto2:
The 5.4 swap has been called a bad idea, and considered an underpowered considerable waste of time, since 2007.

Nice to see that most donít think that anymore.

i just had to join.  i had a blast just listening to the knowledge and the funny stuff you guys talked about.  such a great and friendly bunch.   i was worried about being an outcast and new.  no need as we were treated like people.  i gotta say thanks and i really look forward to hanging around with you guys again.  i think it will be even better when i get me a bird again!  who knows, maybe even a cougar!

Hi I was at the meet yesterday but didn't get a chance to talk to you, I got there a little late and sat up the other end of the table.  :eaty: Great looking Marquis I used to own a 92 and I am thinking about getting another one, I can use a 4 door so I don't have to use the girlfriends Jeep whenever we go some where with the kids ;D

4 doors are great for kids!   they have a real nice ride too.  i had to let my brother drive some of the way home the other day.  i was getting sleepy.  i kind of wish i would have checked out a marauder first though.

In my opinion the Marauder is nice but the price difference is just not worth it  and the parts are more expensive and harder to get (looked into getting a wrecked one a while back) :schh: :o

i never thought about the price difference.  my payments now are 30 bucks more than i was hoping for!   :D  i have been thinking about getting marauder head, and corner lights for my car.  i love how they are black.

I like it sounds sweet. Nice ride its better than the Sable. I had a Sable it was nothing but a lemon you name it that car got it blown head gasket gremlinsin the electrical system until it caught fire.
